In September 2025 I travel up to The Lund Studios (https://www.the-lund.co.uk), in Easingwold near York to participate on an 3 day course ‘Autumnal Abstracts’ with Sam Boughton (https://samboughton.co.uk).  I love Sam’s work and I was  delighted to get a place on her course at The Lund before it was booked out. The course was mainly held in the studio, the woodland in the grounds of the studio and surrounding fields.

Sam would conduct a demonstration in the morning and then we would go out and create our own work inspired by the surroundings. In the afternoon, we would lay our work out for everyone to view and Sam would provide valuable critique of each persons daily work, for us all to take on board and further improve our art practice after the course. I have uploaded some of the work that I created on the course, with the view that I can develop these onto further work.
